This summer vacation

I was going to New Zealand as a study program this summer, but I heard very sad new yesterday. We can’t go there because of swine flu. It is winter in NZ so people who came down with swine flu increased and some people died of it. I was looking forward to going NZ so I felt very sad. I heard about my host family yesterday. There are two people, mother and a daughter, and a cat. I wanted to see them. I’m going to send a letter with some photos after finishing the exams. NZ is also called“flower country”and I’m interested in flowers and gardening so I wanted to see them. I have no plans this summer. The news made me so sad.
